Starting to learn the piano is exciting – but having the right instrument at home makes all the difference. A poor-quality, old piano or a basic keyboard can hold you back, with faulty keys, uninspiring sound, or a feel completely different from your teacher’s piano. These can slow progress, lead to bad habits, and ultimately drain the motivation of the new pianist.
But buying a high-quality piano upfront can feel like a big leap – especially if no one else in the family plays.
That’s where our monthly hire scheme comes in. You get access to a top-quality, well-maintained piano without the upfront cost – so you or your child can progress with confidence and decide whether piano playing is truly for you.

How it works
We offer a range of modern used upright pianos for hire, starting at just £40 per month.
- Minimum hire: 3 months
- No maximum term – keep it as long as you like
- No deposit required in most cases
- Simple setup: Pay the first 3 months upfront plus a small delivery fee; then just set up a monthly Standing Order
Thinking of buying later? We’ll give you a generous discount based on your hire payments – and you can either purchase the piano you’ve been using or swap it for any other model in our showroom, with no extra delivery charge.
