Challen Model 142. The Challen name goes back to 1804 when production started in London. For many years Challens were the piano of choice for the BBC and exported across the world. In more recent years their range have been manufactured in one of the higher quality Asian factories, and this small grand has an excellent almost unmarked case with a rich warm tone and responsive action.
